Wine tasting set „Red Wine Tasting“

One color, thousand nuances. Well, maybe not quite a thousand, but at least enough that it is always worth investigating the causes. In addition to the classic Bordeaux red, which makes many eyes shine, you can find the mysterious violet black of a Shiraz or the warm, translucent brick red of a Burgundy.

On top of that, the nose has a busy job too, as there are countless aromas in each wine. Berries always works, of course. But also spices, wood and / or animalic notes are exciting and can be smelled.

The focus of our "Red Wine Excursion" wine tasting package is on the following grape varieties:

• Spätburgunder (int. Pinot Noir)
• Sangiovese blend
• Merlot blend
• Tempranillo
• Shiraz (french Syrah) blend

Especially with red wines, a cuvée (blend) – one wine made from several grape varieties - is more of a standard than an exception, also in this package. Ultimately, it's about balancing and fine-tuning the components, but the proportionally most dominant grape variety always sets the highlights for the wines in the package.

And that you don't have to jump in at the deep end, we have created our "Experience Wine" poster. On this we present you the most important information about "wine making" and "tasting wine". Furthermore the package comes with a detailed wine description sheet for each of the wines. We wish you a lot of fun with sniffing and trying!
